About the Founder: Thomas Tyrrell
I didn’t come from a background in private equity or generational wealth. I built this business from the ground up, shaped by years of hands-on experience—first in the private sector, then in the military, and always through disciplined leadership.
I started my career selling cars, where I learned real-world finance: loan underwriting, structuring deals, and helping people make smart financial decisions. After earning my real estate license in Colorado, I worked in residential real estate before putting my career on hold to serve in the United States Marine Corps.
As a Recon Marine—part of the fleet Marine Corps' special operations capable unit—I deployed as a team leader across Southeast Asia. My team operated on remote islands supporting INDOPACOM’s mission to deter conflict in the Straight of Taiwan and strengthen alliances across the Pacific. Leading those missions taught me lessons you don’t learn in a classroom: how to manage risk and resources when the stakes are real, how to lead under pressure, and how to execute detailed planning with precision and contingencies.
While serving, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Administration and pursued upper-level graduate coursework in finance—deepening my understanding of capital markets, strategic growth, and financial analysis.
Industries Capital reflects that mindset: disciplined team execution, clear financial strategy, and long-term partnerships. I built this firm for investors who value transparency, cash flow, and a bigger mission than just the next deal.
Unlike firms chasing the next trend, we focus on timeless investment fundamentals: strong cash flow, intelligent risk management, and alignment with our partners’ long-term goals. We are guided by transparency, disciplined operations, and a drive to build meaningful partnerships with every investor, broker, lender, and team member we work with.
IC Approach
Focused Market Strategy: We invest in high-demand neighborhoods where people want to live and work—areas like San Diego County and surrounding regions where housing supply remains constrained.
Income-Producing Assets: Our primary focus is on stabilized or value-add multifamily properties and select commercial real estate opportunities.
Investor-Centric Partnerships: We structure deals with clear returns, regular cash flow, and a focus on long-term wealth—not short-term hype.
We work with:
Accredited investors seeking passive income and portfolio diversification
Real estate agents, builders, and management companies looking to partner on deals
